Description: I wish to communicate with you is a spatial textile installation composed of silk, spinnaker cloth, gauze, and fine netting. Positioned between rooms in a private residence overlooking Rushcutters Bay, it defines a soft threshold, filtering light, sound, and movement. Inspired by sailboats, sunlit glittering water, and the quiet rhythm of the loop road, the work responds to its setting through transparency, reflection, and gentle motion. Fabric masks softly clap in time with a site-specific score, introducing rhythm and presence into the space. This is a work of holding and listening: a gesture of hospitality and quiet communication.
